OBJECTIVES OFTHE PROGRAMME

The objectives of the programme are:

  • To describe normal growth and development in man
  • To list common causes and symptoms of disease conditions which are prevalent in the West African sub-regions
  • To outline the basic nursing skills in caring for the sick people of all ages
  • To state the importance of promoting health and preventing illness
